BUILD•E-Commerce Development

High-converting digital storefronts engineered for scale.

Overview

In e-commerce, every millisecond of load time and every pixel of friction costs you revenue. We architect high-performance, conversion-optimized e-commerce platforms. Whether you need a bespoke Headless Shopify build or a complex custom marketplace, we build storefronts designed to sell.

Challenges We Solve

Sluggish Storefronts

Theme-heavy stores that load slowly, causing impatient buyers to abandon their carts.

Rigid Checkout Flows

Inability to customize the checkout experience or integrate specialized shipping/payment logic.

Inventory Desync

Struggling to keep stock synchronized across multiple warehouses, digital channels, and physical POS systems.

Our Approach

For serious brands, we recommend Headless Commerce. We decouple your frontend presentation layer (built in lightning-fast Next.js) from your backend commerce engine (Shopify Plus, Medusa, or Swell). This allows for completely bespoke, instantaneous shopping experiences while maintaining robust inventory and order management.

Headless Shopify Builds

Combining the reliability of Shopify's backend with the raw speed and customizability of a React frontend.

Custom Marketplaces

Building multi-vendor platforms with complex commission splits, routing, and user roles.

B2B E-Commerce

Wholesale portals with custom pricing tiers, bulk ordering logic, and ERP integrations.

A shop is a set of jobs

An online shop has to let someone find a product, understand the price, pay, and know what happens next. Theme shopping is not that list. Aukark builds the jobs: catalogue structure, a product page that states the offer, checkout, and the message the customer receives after payment. The platform is chosen for those jobs. Shopify and WooCommerce are the usual options already used for this work. A custom storefront is a different project and is only proposed when the catalogue or the checkout rule cannot be expressed on those platforms.

Websites start from ₹15,000 for a baseline site. A shop that takes money is scoped from the number of products, the variants, and whether the page explains delivery, pickup, or both. You get a proposal for that catalogue, not a city-wide average.

Store planning happens against the way you already take an order, including pickup from a Gurugram counter if that is how you sell today. Aukark was founded on 14 November 2020 and the team is 15 people. Headquarters is DLF Phase 2, Sector 25, Gurugram, on +91 94522 09150. The second office is on Golf Course Road, Sector 54, Gurugram, on +91 78359 61012. A first meeting can be at either office or on a call.

Catalogue, payments, and the morning after an order

The catalogue is a set of decisions. One product with three sizes is not the same record as a bouquet that changes every morning, or a tour date that can sell out. Say how often the catalogue changes and who changes it. The admin has to be usable by that person. If only a developer can mark an item sold out, the shop will be wrong by the afternoon.

Payments stay with the payment provider. The store records the order and the payment status. It does not keep raw card numbers. If you also want a phone app for repeat orders, that is mobile app development, and an app with accounts, payments, and an admin panel is published at ₹2,00,000 – ₹4,00,000. The shop and the app are separate scopes even when they share products.

Delivery copy is part of the build when you deliver inside Gurugram. State the areas you actually serve, the cutoff time, and what happens on a Sunday if you are closed. Do not imply a city-wide promise you cannot keep. Pickup instructions should name the counter the customer will see, in ordinary language.

What the published shop project shows

Aurafloral is the e-commerce case study, linked from the work page with Ganga Tourist and Arte Salon. Read Aurafloral for the shop. Ganga Tourist and Arte Salon show the website and marketing work in the same published set.

Local search for a shop is a separate job from the checkout. Product pages are written so a person can understand them, and a Google Business Profile matches the shop you operate. The SEO service is SEO, with the Gurugram narrative on SEO Company in Gurgaon.

After launch, the first month is usually catalogue corrections: a variant that should not have been orderable, a photo that crops badly, a delivery note that confused someone. Budget a short correction window. It is cheaper than discovering the same issues during a sale weekend.

A brief that can be priced

Count the products you will launch with, not the products you hope to have in a year. Note which ones have options. Note whether tax, a delivery charge, or a minimum order must appear before payment. Note whether the customer can pay on delivery. Each of those changes the checkout. A moodboard does not.

Bring one real order from last week, written the way the customer experienced it. That story is the acceptance test. If the new shop cannot tell that story, it is not done, regardless of how the homepage looks.

Design of the shop interface can sit with UI/UX design when the catalogue is awkward or the brand needs a system beyond a theme. Conversion work after you have traffic is conversion rate optimisation. Do not start with testing until people can complete an order at all.

The order you should be able to place on staging

Before a shop is called done, place one order the way a customer would, on a phone, with a product you really sell. Check the price, the delivery or pickup sentence, the payment status in the admin, and the message the customer received. Then mark the product unavailable and confirm the product page stops offering it. That sequence is the acceptance test. A homepage animation is not.

If the order is for pickup at a Gurugram counter, the confirmation has to say which counter and what time window. If the order is for delivery, the confirmation has to match the areas you named. A staging order that uses a fake pin code you do not serve will pass a demo and fail the first real customer. Use a real pin code you do serve.

Taxes and extra charges show before the pay button if you collect them. Cash on delivery, if you offer it, is a status your packer understands, not a hidden payment method. The person who packs should have tried the admin before launch day, at DLF Phase 2, on Golf Course Road, or on a shared screen.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why should we go Headless instead of using a standard Shopify theme?

Standard themes limit your design and performance. Headless architecture separates the frontend, meaning your site loads in milliseconds, your design is 100% custom, and you can seamlessly blend rich editorial content (via a CMS) with commerce data.

Can you integrate with our existing ERP?

Yes. We frequently build custom middleware to sync products, inventory, and order data in real-time between your commerce engine and systems like NetSuite, SAP, or Microsoft Dynamics.
